On 10 July this year, the new Rave The Planet Parade was planned to take place for the first time. The non-profit organization of the same name and DJ legend Dr.
Motte wanted to continue the story of the Love Parade. A big fundraising campaign in 2021 was supposed to finance the new start:
"FundRaving" - from the scene, for the scene.
A few weeks after the launch of Rave The Planet, the pandemic thwarted the plans and finally the parade had to be postponed to 2022.
After long months of waiting, the current statistics and relaxations of the measures finally give hope and with that the preparations and fundraising for the Rave The Planet Parade are now picking up speed again.
Together with TikTok, Rave The Planet is going all out again on the traditional Love Weekend, which is the second weekend in July. In an over six-hour DJ livestream on July 10,
2021, donations for The Rave The Planet Parade 2022 will be collected on the platform.
In front of former Love Parade venues 6 top DJs will take turns on the decks and in interviews:
Ann Clue, Dr. Motte, Klanglos, Mark Dekoda, Nakadia and Stella Bossi
During the stream, viewers can also ask Dr. Motte questions via live chat, which the Love
Parade inventor himself will answer live on camera.
All donations collected will be used for the realization of the Rave The Planet Parade 2022.
